Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information RecoveryReviewed may collect and how it is used.

Last updated: April 27, 2026

Information you provide.

If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, topic, and message. We use that information only to respond to the inquiry, handle corrections, process privacy requests, or follow up on a product update you sent.

The contact form in this template is a front-end UI and does not send email until connected to a mail provider. If you add a mail handler, keep submissions secure and collect only the information needed to respond.

Information collected automatically.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, requested pages, and timestamp. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate performance review.

Analytics and cookies.

If analytics are enabled, we use aggregate reporting to understand which pages are useful and where the site needs improvement. We do not use analytics to sell personal profiles. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.

Any analytics implementation should be configured with data minimization in mind. That means collecting broad usage patterns, not unnecessary personal details. If you deploy this template with analytics, review the provider settings and avoid features that create advertising profiles unless you have a clear legal basis and disclosure.

Affiliate links.

When you click an affiliate link, the vendor or affiliate network may use cookies or similar tracking to attribute a purchase. RecoveryReviewed may receive aggregate commission reporting, but we do not receive your full payment details from the vendor.

How information is used.

  • To respond to messages and correction requests.
  • To keep the site secure and diagnose technical issues.
  • To understand aggregate page performance.
  • To track affiliate commissions where readers choose to purchase through our links.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not add contact-form messages to a marketing list without consent.

Data retention.

Contact messages may be retained while needed to handle the inquiry and maintain a record of corrections. Server logs are generally retained by the hosting provider for a limited period. You can request deletion by contacting us.

Security.

No small website can promise perfect security, but production deployments should use HTTPS, keep the hosting account updated, restrict access to administrative tools, and avoid collecting sensitive files through the contact form. Do not send us recovered files, passwords, license keys, or documents containing private data.

Your choices.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. Send requests to editorial@recoveryreviewed.com.

Contact.

Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.

The contact address used for privacy requests is editorial@recoveryreviewed.com. Site operators should review this policy against the laws that apply to their audience.

If we make a material change to the way the site collects or uses information, the updated date on this page should be changed and the relevant page text should explain the new practice in plain language. Privacy notices are useful only when they describe the site as it is actually operated.
